Reasons to Exfoliate

Exfoliation is a dermatologic process where the dead cells in the skin are removed by means of rubbing a non-abrasive material which is sometimes done with some chemical reagent. The simplest way to exfoliate can be done even during taking a bath. When you take a bath, you can rub your skin with sponge and soap then rinse it afterwards. Aside from cleaning your skin of the dirt the have attached to it, the sponge and soap also brushes off the dead skin cells. Therefore, daily exfoliation is possible and it does not necessarily involve a very invasive method.

Exfoliation is highly recommended to aging women because as we get old, the process of natural skin exfoliation becomes unstable. This causes the skin to have dry patches while other areas are in perfect condition. To attain an even-looking and vibrant skin, the practice of daily exfoliation should become a woman’s habit.

Aside from that, exfoliation is also known to help reduce fine lines in the skin. As it can be done on the face, exfoliation induces the reproduction of new skin cells and migration of these new skin cells on the top layer of the skin. Thus, with regular exfoliation, younger skin cells move from the lower layer to upper layer which produces a younger appearance. Also, exfoliation allows you to achieve a more radiant-looking skin so if you want to look healthier and more alive, start exfoliating now.
